Four Orchids began as a family dream to create playful, thoughtful, and beautifully illustrated books that spark children’s curiosity and imagination. Founded by a father with a lifelong love of storytelling and joined by his wife and two children, the company brings together creative minds across generations and borders.

We believe that stories are seeds that blossom just like orchids when nurtured with care. Every book we publish is crafted to reflect the diverse, joyful, and sometimes chaotic world children live in, with characters and themes that feel real, funny, and full of heart.

Though small, we are growing with purpose. From our base in the Netherlands, we work with emerging writers and illustrators to bring new voices and visions to life, one book at a time.
